All-new generation of IVX phones and systems

The details

Note:   Features vary by IVX model. Consult your ESI Reseller, the various product brochures or the comparison chart to determine which model has which features.
  • Full integration
With an IVX system, just one compact cabinet does what other systems must add together multiple boxes to do. This makes installation and maintenance, just like using IVX itself, much simpler.

  • Grows with your business or organization
    • Up to:
      • 126 call-processing ports.
      • 16 built-in voice mail ports.
      • 280-hour voice storage.
      • 28 fully functional analog ports.
    • VoIP-ready — Adding a Local Network Card and a 24-, 12- or three-channel Remote Network Card allows the capability of integrating voice calls with data traffic over an IP network. This gives you the ability to communicate with a remote office (see also the pages about Esi-Link and the Remote IP Feature Phone) while bypassing the traditional PSTN (public switched telephone network); this provides long-distance savings and greater flexibility.
    • ISDN/PRI-ready — Makes it possible to enjoy the system’s enhanced Caller ID features* even over a wideband connection.
    • 24 conference bridges, accessible from either digital or analog ports.
    • Six-level, 100-branch auto attendant.

  • Digital Feature Phone
    • Fully digital 2B+D.
    • Stylish and compact, to fit any workspace.
    • Convenient four-position tilt mount; also wall-mountable.
    • Simple installation with one-pair, non-polarity-sensitive wiring.
    • “Ruggedized” design resists abuse and spills.
    • Big, easy-to-read display with as many as three high-contrast lines. Provides various combinations of the following, depending upon the system model and configuration, the ESI Feature Phone model and the current operation:
      — Date and time
      — Current line usage
      — Phone number dialed
      — Name of caller*
      — Elapsed time on current call
      — Remaining time on currently playing message or recorded call
      — ACD queue information
    • Dedicated feature keys; Esi-Dex™ (indexed speed-dialing) keys; and up/down keys for independent digital control of speaker and handset volume.
    • Works with IVX C-Class, IVX S-Class or IVX E-Class, simplifying migration.
    • High-quality speakerphone (48-Key and 24-Key Feature Phones) gives you hands-free ease for both talking and listening when it’s necessary. IVX audio is unusually sensitive for any speakerphone, much less for a phone in IVX’s price class.

  • Up to 28 fully functional analog ports
Voice messaging (Integrated Answering Machine or voice mail), park/retrieve, transfer, page, call waiting, off-premises message delivery and more.

ESI’s special enhancements let you not only return a call with just a keystroke but also, using Esi-Dex, quickly add the caller to your speed-dial list.
    • Missed Call Key™ lets you review the Caller ID data of your extension’s last 10 unanswered calls in which each caller didn’t leave a message. You can return them at the touch of a key.

  • Six-level, 100-branch automated attendant
Available for as much as or as little use as your business may require. Performs virtually limitless call routing, including directories, automatic day/night operation, transfer-off-premises, pager notification, etc.

  • AutoPage
Allows a caller forwarded to your voice mailbox to page you (over your business’s internal overhead paging system) during the personal greeting.

  • QuickPage
Lets one station user QuickPage another station by pressing a designated QuickPage key followed by either a station extension or a programmable key set for a station.

  • Virtual Answer Key
Great for use when you’re already on another call but you want to give special attention to a second call that is in call-waiting for you. You can set as many as two programmable feature keys to be Virtual Answer Keys. Each plays a recorded greeting telling the caller you know he/she is calling and, depending on programming and the prompt you record, can also give the caller an easy way to dial out to another extension where he/she can gain immediate assistance.

  • Auto attendant trunk-to-trunk transfer
Makes it possible for your Installer to set up transferring calls off-premises without the need for Centrex.

  • TAPI support, for using your PC and your telephone as a team
Provided through a standard serial interface on the TAPI version of the Digital Feature Phone. Each IVX phone system model supports Basic Telephony Service integration to such standard packages as Act!®, Goldmine® and Microsoft® Outlook®.

Great for larger offices that can make use of high-bandwidth lines.

  • Available 60-Key Expansion Console
    Simplifies operator duties.

  • Visual Park Key
Allows virtually unlimited park “orbits.” (Also supports park/retrieve with analog phones.) Makes it easy to “park” calls for easy pickup at any station without elaborate codes to remember.

    • Works with Caller ID to keep an alphabetical speed-dial list; accessible with just a keystroke and shown on the display.
    • Three separate speed-dialing lists: personal, station and system.
    • Users can now make entries directly from the Digital Feature Phone keypad.

  • Live call screening
Works like a home answering machine; lets you listen to an incoming message while IVX is recording it. If you want to answer, just lift the handset. Otherwise, IVX will record the message to your voice mailbox for later retrieval.

  • Live call recording
One-touch ease in recording any conversation, even a conference call. The resulting recording is available for copying to others via voice mail; great for keeping your colleagues “in the loop.”

  • Programmable feature keys
    • Provide one-touch access to stations, lines, speed-dialing, agent log-in, service observing and other features.
    • Tri-color LEDs make keys’ use even easier.
